Marvellous Marrakech

How could you not be artistically inspired when visiting Marrakech. The colours and architecture are amazing and photograph so well.

I never get bored visiting Marrakech and each time I visit I end up staying somewhere new.

My next visit is this November and I’ll be staying at http://www.fawakayvillas.com which I am very much looking forward to.

Last year I stayed at the palatial http://www.palaisnamaskar.com which was a very luxurious treat. Our suite was huge, the bathroom alone was larger than most studio apartments in London! We had our own warm pool all to ourselves too.

On previous visits I have stayed at
http://www.les-deux-tours.com/uk,
http://www.jnane.com/jnane-tamsna, http://www.tigmiza.com,
http://www.lucienbarriere.com/

All of which were superb.

My most memorable visit though, was my first. We stayed in the Medina at Riad Kniza and it was magical. Arriving at Bab Doukala by car and then being greeted by a man with a donkey and cart was certainly an eye opener.http://www.riadkniza.com We finished off trip with a few days in the lovely Palmerie area at the wonderful Dar Zemora, where we had a huge ground floor suite complete with front garden. http://www.darzemora.com
